Doug Stone's new Gold Atlas of Western Australia includes 85 Pages of detailed gold prospecting maps for metal detector operators including many new release maps and photographs in colour. The Doug Stone Gold Atlas of Western Australia Goldfields is an essential tool for prospecting the many Western Australian Goldfields. Includes very detailed maps of alluvial and reef mining, old and modern, including tracks, dams, creeks and landmarks and also known nugget find locations with some GPS coordinates.
Doug Stone has put together an immense amount of work and research to create the perfect guide for the Western Australian Goldfields -After weeks of field work, a broken diff and subsequent follow up visits we released our first Gold & Relic Maps of WA: Old Halls Creek; The Brockman and Mary River Battery Goldfields in 2011. April 2012 saw us back in WA mapping the Sandstone mining district. The result, three new maps at a scale of 1:25 000- Sandstone/Hancocks; Sandstone/Six Mile & Raffertys Patch and Sandstone/Nunngarra.
Because of the success of our ‘Gold Atlas of Victoria’ we decided to combine the spatially correct new maps with our existing mud maps. Special emphasis has been given to the indexing and introductory District Maps which show the location of the sketch maps. GPS coordinates have also been added. The result is an 86 page, spiral bound, full colour ‘Doug Stone’s - Gold Atlas of Western Australia’.
